Most roofs will have one or several valleys on it. This is the section of your roof where two slopes join at an angle. One of the most common causes of leaks are rusted or damaged valleys. Valleys should last well over 20 years, but their life span is shortened by corrosive debris building up. When the rust is too far advanced, a new Colorbond or Zincalume valley that is colour matched to your roof, will enhance & protect your roof for decades.

These photos show a Valley before with rust area, the second show the same Valley has been replace with a new Colorbond Valley. Finally another valley which has been replaced and has had Leaf Guard installed to prevent debris build up.

We use the latest in flexible tile pointing products which come in a large range of colours to match the colour of your tiles. The flexible pointing is applied on either side of the ridge capping and on the joins (collars), and is able to cope with small movements of the tile ridge capping much better than just the old sand and cement pointing. Re-pointing also seals the cracks in the bedding between the ridge caps and the roof tiles. This is the waterproof membrane for the ridge caps.

Flashing Replacement- We can replace old rotten or damaged Fascia with new Timber boards fully painted after installation or pre-coated Colorbond Fasica. These can be installed at gutter level or on along the side of your house (Barge/Verge). Long Beach Roofing also offer our services to cap old broken mortar for a more pleasing finish and eliminate an possible leaks. Also, chimneys can be re-flashed with either Colorbond, Wakaflex or Lead these options will be discussed during the quoting process.
